We gave that person a name. Rhett is who you hand the project to: it reads the documents, keeps the accounts, tracks the work, chases the answers, and stays on top of all of it, then brings you the decision instead of another tab.

A name, not an acronym. Rhett is the anglicized form of the Dutch de Raedt, from raad, meaning counsel. It was the name carried by the person you brought a decision to: the one who had read everything, knew where things stood, and told you plainly what to do next.

That is the job. Every job has someone who holds the whole thing in their head. Now every job can.

We've spent our careers in construction and development. And on every deal, the hardest part was never the building. It was keeping up with the software. The pro forma in a spreadsheet, the schedule in one app, the drawings in another, the bids in email, the accounting somewhere else, the decisions in someone's head. Each tool has its own login, its own notifications, its own version of the truth.
